It's Pizza This Time
Few days ago I posted how badly I craved for a cheeseburger. Last night, this crazy craving attacked again and it is pizza this time. At past 10 pm yesterday I sent an sms to my husband saying "can we eat pizza today? yes or no?". My husband replied that its late already to get a pizza. The pizza store where we buy pizza already closed. I was disappointed again. I ended up browsing in google and search for greenwich pizza and there I was staring at the pizza photos in greenwich site(lol). I couldn't thank enough my husband when each time I ask him a favor he always try his best to do it but some things are really out of our hands. When I get upset and I don't talk to him, hubby would always say "Honey, please don't be mad. Stop being maldita now and let's make up". When I hear those words I can't help to smile. He knows now what maldita means and that his wife is maldita. It's not good but I find it cute when he says I'm maldita (lol).
Today, he dragged me to the shop even if I was still so sleepy. We ate together in the Quick Bistro in Bilka. Quick Bistro is not really quick (lol). Everytime we go and eat there we always have to wait atleast 20 minutes to get our order even if its just 1 piece of burger. And then we went to the shop to buy a frozen pizza so I can heat and eat it at home later.

A few days ago, I was saying that I'll be hosting a gathering today. Divine and Rechelle will come here in our place to visit me. I had a very short slept this morning. I was busy cleaning our little home yesterday and at midnight I started baking the cake for our dessert today. I finished past 3 am and I knew that I have to wake up early the next day to prepare the food. I went to bed 4:30 am already and woke up 8 am. I started making the empanada which took me too long to finnish. While I'm in the middle of making it I had a dysmenorrhea and I started feeling dizzy. After a while I had to stop from what I'm doing coz I couldn't bear to stand anymore longer. I phoned Divine and Rechelle to come here 4 pm instead of 3 pm. After 1 hour of rest I felt better and went back to kitchen. I got so busy that before I knew it, it was 4 pm already and there are still 2 dishes that are not cook and I don't even have a cook rice yet. I felt so bad and I really wanted to cry. I felt so helpless and frustrated, despite the fact that I started early I wasn't able to finnish on time. I run to our bedroom and fixed myself very quickly. So that when they arrive atleast I look a bit descent. I was washing the dishes, tried cleaning the kitchen a bit and at the same time cooking when my phone rang. Rechelle was downstairs already and I really panicked. I was really worried that the food were not yet done and my visitors are starting to arrive. After I picked her we talked a bit while I was cooking and then the bell rang. I knew it was Divine, talking with Rechelle while cooking helped me to calm down. I just let the 2 ladies talked while I continue with my unfinished job in the kitchen. After a few minutes the table was ready and we started eating. I'm glad that the food was ok except for the chicken curry that is a bit salty. We watched lost together for an hour or two then the ladies were picked up by their husbands.
I'm happy with the experience today. It's my first time to be a host and it really feels good. Its my first time also to cook for other people other than my husband. I'm no cook or master in cooking but I am very happy I did fine. I was able to pull it off despite the fact that I did not feel well. I hope my visitors were happy with the food though. :-D

When I found out that my inlaws are visiting Philippines to attend our wedding I was surprised and very excited. I was happy of the thought that they will be visiting my country and I couldn't wait to see them there.
A few days after my inlaws arrival, we finally had the time to bond together. Because of the very short time we had I wasn't able to tour them in Davao tourists spots. Most of the time we went to different malls and I really look like a tourist guide with six blonde people around me. Both of my parent's in law, sister in law and her two kids were there.
The day before the wedding, we decided to go to Davao's famous park, the People's Park. We had a wonderful time touring there. My sister inlaws kids were confused and shy because a lot of people were looking at them but I saw smiles in their face while touring the park especially playing in the children's playground. Our tour was very nice and everyone is game for picture taking with the park's statues.
People's Park is the nicest park in Davao, it is formerly known as PTA Ground. The park was opened last December 2007. The four hectare park was divided into several area like the plaza, fun or kids playground and durian dome. It has wonderful landscapes and man made water falls. The park is surrounded with different kinds of flowers and trees and it has park has a lot of unique looking statues made by Davao's very own artist, painter and sculptor Kublai Millan.

Most of us if not all, are into furniture. Choosing the right furniture that would fit and compliment the design of our house is one of the most exciting things to do in decorating our home and making it stylish.
Our bedroom is our little heaven in our homes. We like it nice and comfortable. There, we don't only rest and sleep, often our dreams and future plans are created there.
Choosing the right furniture would be very helpful to get the ambiance we want. It is nice to wake up in the morning and smile when we open our eyes because we love the things we see. Shopping for bedroom furniture can be quite tricky though, especially with our busy life and hectic schedule. We don't have time to visit furniture shop anymore. Browsing the internet and look for bedroom furniture online is the most comfortable things to do. It would save us energy and time.
Why not visit Go Modern Furniture's website? Go modern bedroom furniture includes beds, storage beds, bedside cabinet's, chest of drawer's and wardrobes and a lot more in mostly contemporary styles. They have everything you need for a bedroom furniture. Your bedroom furniture shopping will not be difficult anymore because you can do it at home or in your office in just a few clicks with your mouse. They sell kitchen and living room furniture too so you better check it out.

I've seen a theme park just last year when hubby (bf that time) brought me to Finland to introduce me to his family. I was so happy that day, finally after long years of waiting and dreaming and wishing I finally tried to ride the roller coaster which I heard and seen only in TV.
Linnanmaki is the biggest theme park in Helsinki. Hubby and I were very excited to visit it since we arrived in Finland. I can still recall the excitement and joy the first day we attempt to went there. While we were riding the tram going to the park I feel like I was a kid again.
We live in the southern part of Philippines. There, I've seen only Ferriswheel on special occassions like Fiesta but I didn't try it. There is a huge theme park in Luzon but it's very far from our place. We would need to ride a ship or an airplane to get there and my family cannot afford it.
When we arrived there hubby and me were confused why there's no people around. We tried to walk going inside to the park and we found out that the park was closed that day. It was kind of disappointing but not until my husband read in one of the paper in the park that it will be open the next day.
So we went back the next day at noon and had finally seen those rides that I never thought I would try to ride. My excitement was very high that I dragged my husband to the ticket booth right away. After that, I told him that I want to try that first roller coaster ride that I've seen. I saw the hesitation in his eyes while I'm dragging him to come with me. There's no much people yet that time so were lucky that we didn't had to wait. The excited me didn't think of anything at that moment but just try that roller coaster ride right away. Fear was the last thing in my mind.
When the roller coaster started to go up it was only then I realized what I got myself into. That moment the excitement was gone and the fear was there. And in just a second I heard myself shouting as loud as I can. I was upside down and going too fast that I'm not sure if my soul was still with me or it was left somewhere in the sky (lol). I was thankful and relieved that the ride lasted less than a minute. It was a quick one but very scary for me. I was dizzy when we were walking looking for the next possible ride. I kept on telling my husband "I made the wrong decision, Bebe. We shouldn't have ride that one".

Hubby and me decided to try one of the kiddie playhouse or something in there. And after that we decided to ride everything there since we have the ride all you can ticket except for the those two rides that we know we can't take.
I am very thankful that I've been given the chance to fulfill one of my childhood dreams, to ride a roller coaster. I was excited, thrilled, happy, amazed, afraid, scared that day. It was a fun experience. Yes, I regretted that first ride why we went there but all in all the joy that I have inside was unexplainable. It's one of those thing's that I've been waiting for my whole life to happen and I'm glad I finally experience it. That dream come true filled the tiny space somewhere in my heart. That space was there for so long and I'm glad its gone now. It's My Turn: To Be The Host
Due to my hectic schedule this past few days I wasn't able to make a post. I've been thinking to make one every single day that has passed but to no success because of my hectic schedule.
A few days ago Divine of My Thoughts and me agreed to meet last Wednesday. I asked her if she can come here in our place and bring Rechelle (another friend) with her. Rechelle is not available on weekdays coz of her studies and job so we reschedule the meeting this coming Saturday.
I'm no expert in cooking so it took me 3 days to decide if what dish shall I prepare. I've been to Divine's place last June just before we left for Finland and now, its our turn to be the host. I get nervous when I think about it. I'm worried of my cooking (lol). I've never cook for anyone aside from my hubby. Back in Philippines, my mother and sister always manage the kitchen. I've never tried cooking there not because I don't want to learn but I'm afraid it will be a failure. So I always leave the cooking to the masters. Just for the record, there was a point in my life when I dreamt of becoming a chef (grin) but I guess I'm just to afraid to try it. I was even too scared to practice in our own kitchen so what more in the school. But I've been always a fan of cooking shows and my favorite TV show is Hell's Kitchen.
I've come up with three dishes and two desserts and I hope I'll do it well. We wen't to the Asian Shop today and started getting the ingredients that will be needed for Saturday. I'll update you guys later and hopefully I'll be posting pics.

When I woke up yesterday, the first sentence that I said was "Bebe, please buy me a cheeseburger tonight". I was craving for a burger for 3 days and I couldn't wait to eat one. I was thinking of it the entire day and finally after 8 hours of waiting, around 11 in the evening hubby arrived. I immediately asked him if he bought a cheeseburger. I was so disappointed when he said no. He was torn if he should get it or not coz he's train will arrive in 7 minutes and there was a long line in Mcdonalds that it would take a while before he can get the burger. So he decided not to buy it and ride the first train that arrived.
I didn't talk to him for hours. I was hungry and very upset about it. I didn't made dinner because I thought we'll be eating burger last night. So when I woke up this morning hubby and I agreed that I'll go with him to the city center to go to the asian shop to buy something from there and buy my cheeseburger as well. He treat me to the new restaurant in the train station and then we went to the asian store. After that, I told hubby that I'll be going home but then he reminded me of the cheeseburger. I was so full that I was not thinking about it anymore but then he insist to get my burger. He asked me if how many Cheeseburger do I want and I said 3. He answered back saying " Are you sure?" and I said "Yes!". After that he didn't said anything and we headed to Mcdonalds and order my 3 cheeseburgers. He was guilty last night coz he didn't bought the cheeseburger and so even if he knew that there is no way I can eat all the 3 cheeseburgers he still bought it to make it up for what happened last night.
I went home with 3 cheeseburgers in my bag and a huge smile in my face.

A few weeks ago, I was very excited for the US Open to start. It's been a while since I watched tennis in TV and I didn't heard any news about my favorite player Rafael Nadal in our almost three months stay in Finland. Before we left Denmark, all I know is that Nadal was the world's number one player in tennis.
It's difficult with the time difference coz they air US Open at night till dawn here, I wasn't able to follow it. A few days ago as I was watching Roger Federer playing, I was very surprised to see his rank in the screen. I couldn't believe it that he is back at the number one position. I, then jumped into my computer to check Nadal's rank and I was a bit disappointed to see that he's number three. Because of the time difference I wasn't able to follow Nadal's game and I would just check his website everyday for the latest news.
This afternoon, I read an article about Nadal in Yahoo News. After Nadal beat Gael Monfils of France, a male fan escaped security and kissed Nadal on his cheeks. It's an uncomfortable and awkward situation but Nadal said in his interview that "It wasn't a problem. The guy was really nice. He was a great fan. He said I love you".
I like him more for this. I am a fan too though I'm not as wild as the guy who kissed him but I kind of understand what the fan did.
Just a few minutes ago, I checked his website and I was so happy to found out that his now back to No. 2 in ranking and through to Quarterfinals.
Go Rafa!

My Favorite Fruit Rambutan
Back in Philippines, my sister has a tree of Rambutan in their backyard. Every year, we would always look forward for the Rambutan tree to bear fruit. When the Rambutan season is coming, we would check the tree everyday if it starts to produce flowers and then we would excitedly wait for the flowers to become little fruits. And when it's ready for harvest I would always volunteer to climb the tree.
When I was young I didn't like Rambutan, not until I was in high school. When it's Rambutan season, I could see a lot of vendors selling it in the streets of Davao City in a cheap price. Each time I buy it, the more I like it and crave for more.
Rambutan is an exotic fruit that is common to southeast asian countries such as Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. A ripe Rambutan has a reddish or yellowish hairy skin. You can either cut, bite or sqeeze with your both hands to open it. It is a bit juicy inside so I don't really like squeezing it. It has a delicious sweet taste that you would always want for more when you taste it.
I miss Rambutan, its been a while since the last time I ate it. Since they don't have it here in Denmark I'll just put it in my "must eat" fruit when we will have a vacation in the Philippines.

The word plastic came from the Greek word plastikos that means to mold or to shape and surgery is the branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of injury, deformity, and disease by manual and instrumental means.
Before, people who undergone plastic surgery prefers to keep it a secret coz a lot of people doesn't understand what it really means. Nowadays, a lot of people have tried plastic surgery to make their self younger and more beautiful just like hollywood stars.
It doesn't mean that a person who's undergone a plastic surgery means that person has a lot of plastic in his/her body. There are two fields in plastic surgery, the Reconstructive and the Cosmetic or Aesthetic.
Reconstructive procedures correct defects on the face or body. Ear deformities, dog bites, burns, cleft lips are just some of the examples that reconstructive surgery corrects.
Cosmetic or Aesthetic surgery is concerned in improving one's appearance. It alters the part of the face or the body that one is not satisfied. Examples are removing of fats, reshaping of nose, breast enlargement or reduction and a lot more....
One of the advantage of plastic surgery is the ability to correct physical defects. Often it gives the patient self esteem and feel better about their self. After all, all of us deserves to look best.
If you're considering to under go to this procedures try to research more about it and make sure that you're doing it for the rights reasons. Choose your surgeon wisely and try to ask people who you know that has done it before for recommendations.

It all started 5 years ago, it's the first day of the opening of the school year in first semester sometime in 2004, I woke up early to prepare myself to school. Took a bath, ate breakfast and proudly wore my new uniform. I was very excited and nervous at the same time to go to school. It's my first day in college after all. I arrived early at school and I was able to choose a seat of my choice. I put my bag beside my seat, I reserved it for my new friend whom I met during the enrollment. We both promise to each other who ever comes first during the first day of the class will reserved a seat for one of us. Thirty minutes later, the rest of the seats were almost all taken and there were two ladies already asked me if the seat beside me is already taken and I told them its reserved for a friend of mine. After a while, there's this lady came in to the door in shirt and jeans and I saw her coming in to my direction. I was wondering, why this girl did not wear her uniform didn't she read the instruction in our school manual that it is required to wear the uniform the first day of the school. She asked my nicely if the seat beside me is taken, I was suppose to answer her yes but I was surprised of how I reacted, I took my bag and put it in my chair and said no its not, you can sit there if you want. I was thinking well, my new friend whom I reserved the chair for can seat beside of that girl who just took her seat since it is still available.
That girl who took the seat introduced herself to me. Her name is Gerremay but she prefers to be called by her nickname Mimi. She was one of the most silent in the class while I'm one of the most talkative (hehe) but even if its like that it didn't hinder to our friendship. Well, she's as talkative as I am when its just us. We shared a lot of things from paper to assignments, answers and secrets and crushes. She brought me a couple of times in their place, introduced me to her family and relatives. We were inseparable, wherever she go I go, if there's a group activity we were always partners. After a year, I have to stopped attending school, we ran out of resources. I lived with my sister that time but it was more like I live alone. I was so devastated and disappointed of what happened to me. It was very painful in my part coz I really wanted to go to school. When the enrollment came, she did not enroll right away and waited for me so we can enroll together and be classmates again but then it didn't happen. It was a challenge for her to be a stranger in her new class and it took a bit of time for her to adjust. She didn't know anyone coz most of our classmates in the first year enrolled earlier than she did. Despite her very busy schedule she finds time to visit me twice a month and bring me a "pasalubong". Then we would have long hours of talk. She updates me the latest news from school, open up her problems and tell me her worries. Then we would both listen to our favorite song before she leave. There were times that she's forcing me to go to their place to have a sleep over and then in the morning when I have to go home she would give me anything that she can afford. From from soap, shampoo, conditioner to the fruits and vegetable in their backyard. She even bought a bag of my favorite candy for me to take home. She tried in her own little way to help me and ease the pain that I have inside. She was a student then and didn't have much but then she did everything she can to help me. That was one of the lowest point in my life and I never thought that she will be there for me. She stand by me. After a year she got more busy and I was able to be back in to my senses again. I tried to move on from what happened and accepted it. I started looking for a job and we didn't met for a year.
There were times when I get home and my niece would tell me that Mimi came and looked for me. We weren't able to meet for a long time. I thought it would be best for her to concetrate in her studies. I wanted her to enjoy her life and stopped worrying about me. I wanted her to find new friends in her new world without me. We stopped exchanging sms coz of our both busy schedule but we both know deep inside in our hearts that were just there for eachother, and were just one sms away. Four years has passed since the day we've known eachother, she graduated already. One fine day I told her the news and sent her an SMS that I'm getting married and I want her to be my bridesmaid, I was hesitant if she will accept it coz she's in the middle of her review for the upcoming Licensure exam. I was delighted to read her SMS saying "Uu gang, kinsa man gud ko para moingon ug dili. Amiga gud ta ".(Translation: Yes dear, who am I to say no?).
I am very happy that she was there in my most special day. After the wedding we started meeting often to catch up and rekindle the friendship we have.
Were are so lucky that God bless us with friends. Life is more beautiful and meaningful knowing there will be someone who will stay with us through thick and thin. Whenever I hear Dionne Warwick's song it reminds me of my best friend Mimi and our beautiful friendship ... through good times and bad times I'll be on your side forever more, that what friends are for...

Even when I was still in Philippines my dry skin has been always my problem. It got worse when I got here in Denmark. After shower I always notice my skin gets tighter and then after a while it would look like it is dehydrated. And there are times that it gets itchy and painful. The driest part is my lower leg, sides of my stomach and my face. I tried different lotions for my body and it took a while before I found the right one for me. Tested some creams for my face, hoping it would lessen the dryness but those didn't help me at all. For some weeks, I had to put petroleum jelly to the side of my nose and lips so that the dry skin won't get visible but it leaves my skin looks shiny and it feels sticky.
I told my sister in law about my problem and its from her I learned to Wash, Tone and Moisturize.
I do this twice a day, in the morning and before I go to bed.
Wash - I use facial soap or a facial cleanser for this. I would suggest not to use your body soap when washing your face. Body soaps contains stronger ingredients and it makes your skin more dry.
Tone - It removes dead skin cells, surface oil and dirt that the facial soap or cleanser miss.
Moisturizer - This helps to keep your skin away from getting dry. It makes your skin moist and hydrated.
Now, my skin feels and looks better. I've been using Clinique products. What's good about them is that they have good selection for different skin types and combination. I use number 1, for very dry to dry skin.

While Sarah of A Journey For Life and me were chatting last night she mentioned about LinkFromBlog. She asked me to check it out too. I was bloghopping that time so I said yes, after my bloghopping. I've read several post about it while bloghopping and it made me more interested to find it out myself. After visiting the blogs of my friends, I check it out right away and registered. I found out that they give bonus for signing up plus the chance to earn more by doing tasks and opportunities that they will give to you. So why not check it out too?

One of the things that a person need to have a good health is to have a good sleep 8-10 hours a day. We spend quite long hours in bed everyday and the comfortability of the bed really matters. If we don't sleep well at night, it will reflect during the day. Often we would get moody and sometimes we won't perform well in our task. We need a nice and comfortable bed to rest and sleep.
I found out about eroomservice while browsing on the net and they offer modern and contemporary beds . They have a big selection of beautiful beds and bed sets. If you're looking for nice and elegant beds, then this is the place you should go to. I myself was impressed how nice the bed they have. They offer Italian modern beds and European contemporary bed frames from world renowned modern furniture designers.
So why not invest in a bed that will last and give you a good nights sleep?

I Finally Have A PR
Last night I was in the computer for 4 hours straight and I didn't notice it. I was so busy updating my blog and adding a scroll bar to my friendslist. After the update has been done, I thought of why not try to check my PR before going to the kitchen and wash the dishes. So I checked it, I was expecting of an n/a answer coz thats what I've been getting all the time. And no one would expect a PR with my inconsistency, I blog today and tomorrow and for the rest of the week I'm not blogging and then after a week or two I'll update my blog again. I was very inconsistent so I was not expecting anything but then I was surprise to see the screen showed me. I saw 3/10 PR and I was not sure if how exactly I felt. I closed the tab and open a new one. I thought maybe I pasted the wrong URL, but then after pasting my URL for the second time I got the same answer and I chose not to believe still and close the tab again. I was telling my self this can't be happening, this must be a mistake. After a while, I tried to check my PR again and I made sure and double check that it is my URL that I'm pasting and not someone else's. It's on my third attempt, it finally sink in my mind that I really have a PR now. For a while I was just staring on the screen looking at the 3/10 in white, green and gray colors that is written in my screen. It was such a joy to look at the screen that time. I can't help to smile for the entire night. I was even singing while washing the dishes.
